A sample of the innovative work undertaken in the neonatal unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital has been showcased at a national conference in Montreal. The presentation was given by Senior Sister Anne Vallance and Sister Midwife Cathy Brown, and featured the extensive measures carried out by the team to reduce hospital acquired infections. The trip to Canada also included a professional visit to a local neonatal unit and several new ideas are now being evaluated and considered for use in Forth Valley.
