‘I Am So Pleased To Pass On My Thanks To All The Staff’

Dear Sir

I was referred to CAU by my GP on 8th January and spent 3 days on ward A12.

I was so impressed by the staff and everything about the hospital during my short stay. My 94 year old father in law , who is on the border between Forth Valley and Glasgow, has been admitted to Forth Valley 3 times in the last few years and always said how well treated he was and had no complaints at all – very unusual for him!

He was admitted to The Western in Glasgow a year ago and was then shunted between Gartnavel and Drumchapel before being admitted to a care home. He kept saying that he wished he was back in Forth Valley!

I also was so impressed by the the catering in Forth Valley – everything I had was piping hot and the choice was excellent. The first couple of days I had very little appetite and wonder if there would be a case for providing a half round of sandwiches as a full round was too much and I hated wasting good food!

In this day and age when everyone seems to want to find fault with everything I am so pleased to pass on my thanks to all the staff – caterers included – who tried so hard to make my stay as pleasant as possible.

Regards Val C
