‘I felt I Was in Capable and Caring Hands’
Having just spent a week as a patient in the hospital, I really felt that I had to express my thanks and gratitude for the care and attention I received during my stay.
From my first contact with the young female paramedic to the ambulance crew who transported me to the hospital, to the attention I received at A&E and then medical staff and nurses in the Acute Assessment Unit, I felt I was in capable and caring hands. This professionalism continued throughout X-Rays, CRT, Ultra-Sound and MRI scans and my thanks go to staff involved in those procedures including the porters.
I also wish to convey my appreciation and thanks to Mr Shearer and the medical team who handled my case and to the nurses who attended to my needs as well as the staff who provided meals and drinks in Ward B11, where I spent most of my time, and B31 where I had an overnight stay. I should add that, despite recent bad publicity concerning hospital meals, I found those provided by your hospital to be satisfying and delicious.
Thank you all for making my stay as comfortable as possible during my time of need.
