‘Impressed With the Courtesy and Professionalism That I Experienced’
I wanted to flag up how impressed I was with the courtesy and professionalism that I experienced on Friday night 17th July in A&E and the AAC. All the staff I encountered were extremely respectful and business-like including the domestic staff and the hospital was extremely clean – something that was commented on by the person accompanying me. Having not expected to be in overnight, I was surprised and delighted at the provision of toiletries and felt that the facilities in the room I had were at least comparable to some of the hotels I have stayed in and compared more favourably than the Glasgow Nuffield hospital I was in some years ago. The variety available for breakfast was comprehensive and included healthy options. Coffee was provided – an absolute delight as I am not a tea-drinker. Lunch seemed to cover most options – I had the shepherd’s pie which was excellent. Further, I had not expected to see a consultant in the morning – let alone the register in the middle of the night.
All in all, can you pass on my gratitude to the medical staff, the nursing staff, the domestic staff, the catering staff and anyone else I have missed out? While I would prefer not to be using your establishment overnight, I have no concerns in doing so if I have to.
