‘Thanks To All The Staff’

Thanks to all the staff at Forth Valley Hospital for the first class treatment I received recently having suffered a minor stroke. I attended A & E on Sunday 10 July being unable to use my left hand effectively. This was immediately treated as a suspected stroke. I was kept in hospital until Tuesday 12th to complete a comprehensive series of tests which confirmed a stroke originating from a partially blocked carotid artery. Surgery was arranged for Friday 15th July. Throughout treatment the care I received has been first class from all the staff I encountered.

I feel too often the national press dwells on the bad reports of health care and very rarely publicises the positive outcomes. I hope this feedback redresses this to some extent.

In addition, today I had a visit from the anticipatory care team as follow up, again a useful and informative experience.

Please convey my thanks and deep appreciation to all of the team involved in my care. Keep up the good work.
