“What a super appointment”

I just wanted to say what a super appointment I had on Saturday 15th February at the Rheumatology Department.

Dr David Crosbie was smashing – he has a super, positive approach, coupled with a nice sense of humor. He is easy to talk to and gave clear advice. He also gave me useful tips on how to make life easier on a day to day basis! Trainers, exercises and aqua aerobics! This suited me very well as I don’t believe medication is the only answer to a problem. It’s great to have in the background but the whole process of self management is to take a rounded view of a problem so that it can be ‘managed’ in various ways, not one thing fixes all!

This is not the end of my Kitten Heels, but with a bit of lifestyle tweeking I should be able to wear them for a long time to come!

Being diagnosed with EOA isn’t a joy, but it won’t stop me from achieving my goals, all be it sensible shoes and a little support from a helpful and kind medical team.

Many thanks
