Breathing Space staff are trained phone line advisors who will listen to you, and can connect you to organisations or groups in your area for ongoing support. The phone line is open Monday-Thursday 6pm-2am and Friday 6pm until Monday 6am over the weekend.
NHS 24: 111
Call NHS 24 if you are ill and feel it cannot wait until your GP surgery opens. The phone line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Helplines & Listening Services
There are now many helplines that employ highly trained volunteers or paid workers to provide a listening services which will allow you a space to talk through your feelings and experiences on the phone without being judged or telling you what to do. All listening services are confidential and will generally allow you to speak for as long as you need to feel better. Many services will be able to signpost you to resources that could help you or provide some advice if needed. There are many services, some of which will be more appropriate to you depending on how you are feeling or what you are seeking advice for.
