Volunteers play a very important role in NHS Forth Valley. Working in a variety of settings they provide a range of services from serving cups of tea to patients, being a friendly face and a comfort when people are afraid, to repairing and refurbishing hearing aids. Much loved and appreciated by patients, they have become very much ‘part of the team.
