Orthopaedic Surgeon Selected for Cricket World Cup
Peter Moses, a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, was selected to represent the Rest of the World cricket team in the Over-60s Cricket World Cup.
This major international event, which involves 12 other countries, takes place in Chennai on India’s southern coast from 18th Feb – 4th March 2024. With no Scottish team involved, Mr Moses joined the Rest of the World team, which included seven Scottish players as well as players from Sweden, Spain, Malta, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates.
Peter, who is an honorary president and player at Stenhousemuir Cricket Club, said: “It was a great honour and privilege for me to represent Scotland in this team and an incredible opportunity to return to my native city of Chennai to play in a World Cup.”
