Lochview provides care for people with learning disabilities who require specialist or complex health assessment and treatment which cannot, at that time, be met in the community or by general health services. Lochview has representation from the following service areas:
- The Learning Disability Additional Support Team (AST) – (including forensic and crisis support)
- Art and music therapies
- Clinical psychology
- Community Learning Disability Nursing
- Learning Disability Acute Liaison Nurse
- Occupational Therapy
- Social Work
Lochview is divided into 4 houses and has 26 beds. All have individual bedrooms with bathroom facilities. There is an activity area which has 5 therapy rooms and a snoezelen (multi-sensory room).
NHS Forth Valley operates an open visiting policy however it is still important to maintain a restful environment for all patients and we therefore ask that there are no more than two visitors at any one time. We recognise there may be times that more than two people may need to attend so please speak to a member of staff to discuss visiting arrangements.
