Filming has been taking place in the mental health unit and a general ward at Forth Valley Royal Hospital to promote mental health nursing as a career. The move is a joint collaboration between NHS Forth Valley and the University of Stirling and shows how rewarding mental health nursing can be.

The University of Stirling’s School of Health Sciences has a flourishing and award-winning degree course and its staff and students have put together a film about why they chose this rewarding profession.

The degree programme comprises 50% theory and 50% practice.
