Congratulations to our Adult Diabetes Team who won the Diabetes Project of the Year Award at the at the recent Scottish Healthcare Awards. The team was nominated for a project to change diabetes practice and ensure all patients have the opportunity to receive the essential 9 processes of care every year with the overall aim of reducing diabetes complications in the future.

Dr Hannah Macpherson, Consultant Physician – Diabetes & Endocrinology, said: “It is wonderful to have our brilliant team and their innovative ideas and hard work recognised with this national award.”
