Local People invited to NHS Forth Valley’s Annual Review
Local people from across Forth Valley are being invited to attend NHS Forth Valley’s Annual Review to hear more about the Health Board’s performance over the last year and the ongoing work to improve the experience of local patients.
The Review, which takes place on Friday 22nd September 2017 in the Lecture Theatre at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert from 2.00pm, aims to give patients and the general public an opportunity to hear how well NHS Forth Valley is performing in relation to key targets.
NHS Forth Valley Chairman, Mr Alex Linkston will deliver a brief presentation highlighting some of our major achievements and challenges during 2016-17. There will then be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions, although it will not be possible to answer queries on specific patient issues.
Mr Linkston said: “This year’s Annual Review will provide an opportunity for the communities we serve to find out more about the work undertaken across the organisation over the last year. There will also be the chance to hear about the wide range of initiatives underway to improve the health of local people and I’m therefore keen to encourage as many patients, members of the public and community groups from across Forth Valley to attend.”
Anyone wishing to attend should contact NHS Forth Valley by 18th September 2017 and advise of any special requirements. Please telephone 0800 456033 (freephone) or email: FV-UHB.YourHealthService@nhs.net
