Vicky Wright, a member of the Team GB Women’s curling team which won a gold medal at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, received a hero’s welcome from colleagues when she returned to work at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

She was met with flowers, balloons, bunting, celebration posters, a special gold medal cake and a mini curling ring in Ward B11.

Her colleagues also erected a blue plaque outside the ward to mark her incredible achievement.
