Public Invited to Comment on New Health and Social Care Plans
A number of discussion and engagement events have been organised to give local people, health and social care staff, service users, carers, service providers and community organisations an opportunity to comment on the proposed Strategic Plan for the new Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership.
This sets out the key plans and priorities for the new Partnership which will oversee the development of a wide range of health and social care services for adults across Clackmannashire and Stirling.
The events will take place on:
- Wednesday 30th September 2015 (10.00 am – 12 noon) Main Hall, Albert Halls, Stirling
- Thursday 1st October 2015 (10.00 am – 12 noon) Main Hall, Killearn Village Hall
- Wednesday 7th October 2015 (10.00 am – 12 noon) Main Hall, Alloa Town Hall
Shiona Strachan, Chief Officer for the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership, said: “Stirling Council, Clackmannanshire Council and NHS Forth Valley are working together to ensure the services we provide are more joined-up and better co-ordinated. We are developing a Strategic Plan that will set out how we will do this and we want to hear from local people and community groups on how they would like to see services developed and delivered in the future.
“The feedback and suggestions we receive at the events will be invaluable so we would like to encourage people who use health and social care services in Stirling and Clackmannanshire to come along and share their views and experiences.”
