Forth Valley Giving is the operating name of the NHS Forth Valley Endowments Funds. Our primary purpose is to secure donations for services, activities and amenities which complement the core work of NHS Forth Valley and enrich the patient experience.
There are currently more than 180 different Funds within NHS Forth Valley which fall within one of the following categories:
- Mental Health
- Learning Disabilities
- Elderly People
- Women & Children
- Surgical
- Medical
- Intermediate Care
- Clinical Services
- Clinical Facilities
- General
You can donate to any one of our endowment funds which includes Wards, Departments and Hospitals throughout Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire.
Alternatively, donations can be made for the general charitable purposes of the charity which empowers the Trustees to direct the donation to where it is most needed.
All our donations are held separately from the money used to provide day to day NHS services and are spent in accordance with the wishes of donors.
In recent years we have funded:
- Sensory gardens in local Community Hospitals
- Trips, outings and music for elderly people
- Support for families affected by mental illness
- A rapid response service for families in crisis
- A social hub for mental health patients
- Support for babies with feeding concerns
- A ‘hospice at home’ service in conjunction with Strathcarron Hospice.
