Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Partnership (HSCP) is to ask communities in rural southwest Stirling for their views on the delivery of community health and care models.

The HSCP, which delivers adult and older people community health and social care services across Clackmannanshire and Stirling Council areas, will next week (Monday, 1 February) launch the second stage of a consultation process in the Forth and Endrick ward.

Residents and other key stakeholders in the area will be invited to participate in a series of virtual events and an online survey to help shape the future delivery of care and support in a more person-centred way.

This includes respite care, personal care at home, self-directed support, support to unpaid carers and residential and nursing care.

The engagement aims to continue to develop an individual outcomes approach to care and support for people living in the area.

Part one of the consultation (6 Dec-25 Jan) featured a number of online public meetings and determined how this stage of the process would be conducted.

The virtual events in stage two of the consultation will be hosted online via Microsoft Teams due to the ongoing pandemic and will take the form of interactive workshops.

They will be held at the following dates and times:

• Wednesday, 3 February (7pm-9pm)
• Monday, 8 February (2-4pm)
• Thursday, 18 February (2-4pm)

The digital survey will go live on 1 February and will run until 15 March, 2021. People unable to access the survey online can call the contact centre on 01786 404040 (1 February – 15 March) to complete it.

Following the consultation, a final report will be considered by the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Integration Joint Board before a decision is made on the future model of care.
