Anne Vallance, Senior Sister and team at the Neonatal Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital won the Care for Children Award at the 2011 Scottish Health Awards.

The Unit was nominated for its outstanding work by both the families of patients and NHS colleagues at the hospital. The team has also been praised for its innovative work to improve infection control and patient safety.
