A number of staff from the Women and Children’s Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital recently received awards in recognition of their outstanding care, commitment and expertise.

The NHS Forth Valley Women & Children’s Directorate 2023 Award Winners are:

• Healthcare Support Worker of the Year Award – Linda Sludden
• Staff Nurse of the Year Award – Claire Findlay
• Gillian McMillan Inspirational Midwife of the Year Award – Diane Tavern

Gillian Morton, NHS Forth Valley’s Director of Women and Children’s Services, said: “It was a great night, and I am incredibly proud of all the nominees and winners. The number of nominations for these awards increased again this year which is good to see and testament to the hard work and expertise of local staff.”
