Event Outline/aims

As part of the Family Support Collaborative in Clackmannanshire we are launching two Family Support Hubs with a third to follow before December. The aim of these hubs is to provide a community place-based approach to accessing services and supports. The hubs will offer a free, drop in style, non referral approach where families, parents, carers, young people can walk in and receive advice, sign posting and, in some cases, support there and then. Services and supports already committed to the hubs include, Barnardos, Action for Children, Homestart, and employability supports.

We want to create spaces that have a no wrong door approach, if you are looking for advice or support with any matters that relate to a family we want to be able to help and support at the first point of contact. The hubs have been completely designed by communities with co production and participation at the centre of them. The Hubs will not take away from any of the existing work that goes on around family support – it is an addition and a new easier way for people to access support and advice before it is reaching the level of crisis interventions.
