Volunteers wanted

Since 2010 volunteers have supported Audiology staff by servicing hearing aids, issuing batteries and giving general advice on hearing aid use. This has proved to be invaluable to the patients and staff and the service could not run without them. All volunteers are given full training to prepare them for working in the clinic.

Volunteering in Audiology is very rewarding. We are a welcoming and sociable team and look forward to recruiting new volunteers.

Key personal qualities:

• Good interpersonal skills
• Good listener
• Good manual dexterity
• Good eyesight
• Retired aged >55 years
• Available for 3hrs every Wednesday afternoon
