Annemargaret Black, Chief Officer of Clackmannanshire & Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership said:

“Keeping adults at risk of harm in Clackmannanshire safe is our priority, and this multi agency inspection report highlighted that staff across agencies in Clackmannanshire worked together to ensure these adults experienced improved safety outcomes as a result of this collaboration and intervention.

“The report also noted that partners consistently carried out all adult support and protection processes in a timely manner, including the Police who contributed effectively and efficiently to all aspects of the delivery of key processes to keep adults at risk of harm safe and protected.

“Early intervention initiatives, such as safeguarding through rapid intervention and the early intervention to welfare concerns initiative  (STRIVE), effectively supported vulnerable individuals across Clackmannanshire. The leadership for adult support and protection was also noted to be effective throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and the partnership maintained critical services to adults at risk of harm

“I have congratulated and thanked all staff and partners involved for keeping adults at risk of harm safe across the local area. Together with our partners, we have identified the areas for improvement highlighted in the report and had already started on an improvement journey, with a plan in place which will continue to be reviewed.”
