Irene Warnock, one of our local district nurses, was recently interviewed about her career and experiences as part of a new national initiative called Extraordinary Everyday which aims to reflect the modern face of nursing and midwifery in Scotland in a positive, but realistic way. The initiative, which includes the creation of a range of online resources, is being coordinated by NHS Education for Scotland in partnership with NHS Boards, Higher Education Institutions and other stakeholder organisations.
