Description

The new Forth Valley Royal Hospital became fully operational in July 2011, following the transfer of the final phase of acute services from Stirling Royal Infirmary (now Stirling Community Hospital).

The £300m facility at the time was the largest NHS construction project ever built in Scotland and one of the most modern and well equipped hospitals in Europe.
