A recent report by the BBC’s health correspondent highlighted the on-going work at Forth Valley Royal Hospital to identify the palliative care needs of patients when they are admitted to hospital. This has resulted in a significant increase in referrals to our specialist palliative care services which, in turn, has ensured more patients have access to the care and support they require.
