Ryan was just 52 when he experienced a stroke.

After a short period in hospital, he received treatment and support at home from our Stroke Transition and Rehabilitation (START) Team.

This included intensive physiotherapy both at home and at Falkirk Community Hospital as he also joined a local gym.

In the video he describes his experiences and the many small goals he worked towards during his recovery leading up to him being able to drive and return to work.
