Meetings Arranged To Discuss Plans for Health & Social Care Services
Ways to improve health and social services for adults in Clackmannanshire and Stirling will be on the agenda at four public meetings taking place across the area in January 2019. Local people are being asked to put forward their views at these meetings to help identify future plans and priorities. This feedback will shape how a number of NHS and council services are delivered over the next three years.
Interim Chief Officer for the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership, Ian Aitken, said: “We want people in Clackmannanshire and Stirling to live full and positive lives within supportive communities. Our plan for the next three years will look at how we will achieve this vision and what our priorities will be so it’s really important to hear what local people think.
“This is your opportunity to influence the way a wide range of local health and social care services are developed and delivered in the future as the feedback from these meetings will inform the development of a new Strategic Plan for the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership for the next three years.”
The integration of health and social care services is aimed at delivering more personalised, joined-up care, especially for people with long-term conditions and disabilities, many of whom are older.
