New whistleblowing champion sought for NHS Forth Valley

NHS Forth Valley is looking for a new member to join its Board as a Whistleblowing Champion. The role is part of a national development which will see dedicated Whistleblowing Champions recruited to every Health Board in Scotland by the end of 2019.

Alex Linkston, Chairman of NHS Forth Valley, said: “This is a challenging, rewarding and worthwhile role which will help shape the future of the NHS. We are looking for people from all walks of life who are committed to helping us improve the health and wellbeing of local people living in Forth Valley.

“You don’t need to be a health expert or have previous experience of being on a Board as we are keen to find people with a diverse range of backgrounds and knowledge. This is a alos great opportunity to broaden your experience as you will be offered training and support to develop and learn any new skills you may require.

The post will take up around eight hours a week and last for up to four years in the first instance, with a remuneration of £8,416 a year.
