Lynne Rowley – Clinical Team Lead
Lynne Rowley is Team Lead for Orthotics Service in NHS Forth Valley where she has worked for over 10 years. Lynne qualified as an Orthotist in 1992 from Strathclyde University and has practiced in many different clinical environments north and south of the border. Lynne has a special interest in diabetes and complex conditions. She carries a generic clinic load and also covers trauma and the diabetic foot ward round. Lynne has been an active serving member of her professional body for many years and enjoys a good game of curling in the winter.
Gillian Waddell – Specialist Orthotist
Gillian Waddell is a specialised Orthotist and has worked in Paediatric clinics within Forth valley for almost 20 years. She graduated from Strathclyde University in 1999 with a Honour degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. She is passionate about everything in the field of orthotics, but her true passion lies within the orthotic management of paediatric Neurological conditions. In addition to her generic Paediatric orthotic clinics she works as a member of the multidisciplinary team for Botox assessment and serial casting clinics. Gillian’s goal inter working life is to achieve the optimal outcome for all patients, treating them all individually and their specific needs.
Francesca Muratore – Band 5 Orthotist
Francesca Muratore is an Orthotist and she has worked for 5 years as Orthotist in Italy, for 1 year in the Orthotics Service in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and for about 2 years in the Orthotics Service in NHS Forth Valley. Francesca qualified as an Orthotist in 2008 from University of Genoa with an Honours degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Francesca has a special interest in knee osteoarthritis and scoliosis. She is very passionate about Research and she is graduating in MRes Health Research in June 2020 from University of Stirling. She carries a generic clinic load and also covers trauma and stroke wards. In the spare time Francesca enjoys practicing various sports but her favourites are softball, yoga and hillwalking.
Emily Greenan – Band 5 Orthotist
Emily Greenan graduated from Strathclyde University in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Since graduating Emily has been based at Stirling Community Hospital and works within both the adult and paediatric orthotic service. A key area of interest that Emily has is within Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and from this stemmed a curiosity in idiopathic and autistic toe walking. As well as her regular clinics Emily works alongside Gillian within the serial casting clinic. Outside of work Emily can be found participating or coaching sports.
