The GP walk-in service located at CCHC provides urgent care for patients with non-life-threatening conditions that require immediate treatment and cannot wait for a routine appointment.

If your condition is not urgent or is better treated somewhere else, you will be redirected to the most appropriate service.

Who can use this service

To use this service you should:

• Be a resident in the Clackmannanshire Council area (FK10, FK11, F12, F13, and FK14 postcodes)
• Have an urgent condition that needs help today, but is not an emergency.

What we can help with

You can use this service for:

• New pain, rashes, or fever
• New throat, ear, or chest infections
• Urgent bladder or urine problems
• Urgent skin conditions
• New stomach or bowel problems
• New muscle, joint or back pain
• New headaches or dizziness
• Flare ups of existing conditions (e.g asthma)
• New or worsening mental health issues – but not medication reviews

What this service cannot help with

This service is not for:

• Emergencies or life threatening conditions – attend Emergency Department or call 999.
• Minor injuries, burns and broken bokes – Call NHS 24 on 111.
• Managing long-term conditions – see your usual healthcare professional.
• Eye or dental care – go to your dentist or local optician
• Blood tests
• Sick notes or doctors letters
• Routine sexual health testing
• Pregnancy-related issues
• Vaccinations
• Repeat prescriptions
