In April 2020, a decision was taken to co-ordinate the support for care homes across Forth Valley through a dedicated multi-professional and multi-agency team called CHART (Care Home Assessment and Response Team).

The team initially provided expert support to care homes which were caring for residents with Covid-19 and subsequently developed to provide support and advice to care home staff to help monitor care and effectively manage their response to Covid-19.
