The Why Weight Programme helps support children, young people and their families work towards a healthier weight. We engage and work with families to explore what help and support they are looking for.
We offer a range of practical programs looking at well-being, activity and nutrition and aim to engage families in practical work to support behaviour change.
Our Why Weight – Child Healthy Weight Service accepts self-referrals from families with children and young people aged up to 18 years of age, with higher weight who would like to make changes and work towards a healthier weight.
If you are a parent, carer or young person who would like to self-refer into our Why Weight Programme or if you are a member of staff, healthcare professional or work in social care and would like more information on how to refer individuals to the Why Weight Programme, then please contact us.
