The Specialist Rehabilitation Unit is based in the Thistle Suite, in the Bellfield Centre at Stirling Health and Care Village. It has comfortable single rooms, all furnished with a mini fridge, an ensuite bathroom with shower, a TV and space for visitors.
The Unit also has a kitchen that is used for cooking practice and access to an gym which is used for physiotherapy or occupational therapy. There is a communal area where patients are welcome to have their meals, watch TV and socialise with others. In addition, there is a balcony area where patients and their families can sit outside. The gardening club, where patients grow plants, vegetables and flowers, also takes place in the balcony area.
The Bellfield Centre also has a hairdresser (available on specific days), a cafe and two social rooms where regular social activities are held (e.g. the arts club). The RVS also run a cafe in the main outpatient building at Stirling Health and Care Village.
Outside the Bellfield Centre there are benches and tables for everyone to use and some garden spaces.
