Patient Survey
NHS Forth Valley is running a survey to understand why some paediatric outpatient appointments are missed. If contacted, please take part to help improve our services!
The anonymous survey is available here at https://forms.office.com/e/CaFfrGgg4g. Contact details are only used to reach participants.
For questions or to opt out, email fv.paedssurvey@nhs.scot.
Our children are cared for through a wide range of services. Our aim is to provide a friendly and inviting atmosphere to help keep them calm and relaxed whenever they visit.
The majority of services, including all inpatient services, are based in the Women’s and Children Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert. These include a 25-bedded children’s ward, paediatric clinics and a neonatal unit for sick and tiny babies.
Children’s outpatient clinics are also held at Stirling Health & Care Village as well as in a number of other community locations across Forth Valley. In addition we provide specialist services in community settings, such as children’s physiotherapy, occupational therapy, mental health services and wheelchair services.

Feedback on Services
We try to achieve a high standard of services, and are always looking for ways to improve them, but we recognise that at times we could do better and that sometimes things go wrong. If you have any comments we want to hear about it. You can feedback direct to us online or via Patient Opinion.
Young Patients Family Fund
If you’re the parent, parent substitute or sibling (aged under 18) of a young inpatient under the age of 18 receiving hospital care, you can claim for the costs of travel and food. An inpatient is a patient who lives in hospital while having treatment.
You must claim from the Young Patients Family Fund within 3 months of the young inpatient being discharged from hospital.
