The Infection Prevention and Control Advisory Service is primarily based within Forth Valley Royal Hospital, and provides an area wide service to Forth Valley.
The aim of the Infection Prevention and Control Service is to contribute to the reduction and spread of healthcare associated infection.
This includes the development and maintenance of policies which reflect national legislation and best practice as well as raising awareness of infection control risks, and promoting a culture where infection control is seen as everybody’s business.
