Local People invited to NHS Forth Valley’s Annual Review
Local people from across Forth Valley are being invited to attend NHS Forth Valley’s Annual Review to hear more about key health developments over the last year as well as plans for the future.
The Review takes place on Tuesday 30th August 2016 in the Lecture Theatre at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert from 1.45pm – 3.00pm.
This year’s public meeting will be chaired by Aileen Campbell MSP, Minister for Public Health and Sport who will review how the Health Board has performed in relation to a number of key national and local health targets.
NHS Forth Valley Chairman, Mr Alex Linkston will deliver a brief presentation highlighting key achievements and challenges during 2015/16. There will then be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions – although it will not be possible to answer queries on specific patient issues.
Mr Linkston said: “This year’s Annual Review provides an important opportunity for the communities we serve to find out more about the work of the Health Board over the last year and hear about our plans for the future. I’m therefore keen to encourage as many local people, patients and community groups from across Forth Valley to attend.”
The Annual Review is open to all members of the public and, in order to finalise arrangements, anyone wishing to attend is asked to contact NHS Forth Valley by 23rd August 2016 to confirm their attendance and advise of any special requirements – Tel 0800 456033 (freephone) or email: FV-UHB.YourHealthService@nhs.net
