During your pregnancy your midwife will discuss the many opportunities you will have to gain information to support you through your pregnancy.
We will invite you to attend the antenatal education classes when you are around 28 weeks pregnant. Currently each midwifery team runs their own class once a week. The classes run for a four week block and are a great way to learn about labour, birth and looking after your baby. It might be helpful to come along to the antenatal class for your maternity team to get to know parents to be in the local area. However, if this does not suit you, you are welcome to book to attend any other team’s class.
The antenatal classes are now available online:

Please be aware that you only require to book into the first class of the block.
If you don’t want to book online you can speak to your midwife.
