Neurology deals with the nervous system including the Brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles.
Clinics
The department runs general neurology clinics in Forth Valley Royal Hospital and some specialist clinics. The following specialist clinics are held:
- TIA/Stroke
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Motor Neuron Disease
- Epilepsy
- Huntington’s Disease
- Headache
Headaches
Some of the specialist nurses run nurse led clinics in the community hospitals. They also provide phone advice if you have been referred to their service.

Referrals are by GP or another Consultant only.
