The inter-disciplinary neurology service delivers daily outpatient general and specialist clinics, as well as an acute ward liaison service at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The team assesses people with disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, neuromuscular junction, and muscle.
In addition to general neurology clinics there are specialist clinics for headache, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, functional neurological disorders, neurovascular clinics, rapid access neurology clinic, motor neuron disease, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, botulinum toxin, neuro-ophthalomology, and neurogenetics.

The department runs general neurology clinics in Forth Valley Royal Hospital and some specialist clinics. The following specialist clinics are held:

- Multiple Sclerosis
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Motor Neuron Disease
- Epilepsy

Headaches
Some of the specialist nurses run nurse led clinics in the community hospitals. They also provide phone advice if you have been referred to their service.
