Important Notice Regarding COVID-19 – New Star Inn and The Auld Vic Pubs, Falkirk

NHS Forth Valley’s Test and Protect Team is carrying out Covid-19 contact tracing after a number of people who have visited the two pubs –- both in Grahams Road – have tested positive for coronavirus.

If you have been identified by their Test and Protect Team as a close contact of a positive case, the guidance you were provided with still stands. You must  isolate until the date you were given. For anyone not contacted by Test and Protect the following information applies.

You may wish to undertake a Covid test if you were in the New Star Inn, on Saturday September 26th/ Sunday 27th, or on Thursday October 1st/ Friday October 2nd. The date applicable to The Auld Vic is Sunday September 27th.

If you develop symptoms you should self isolate and book a Covid test, and remain in isolation until you are found to be negative.

If you have no symptoms you do not have to self  isolate but as a precautionary measure you may wish to arrange a test through the booking system.

The symptoms of Covid-19 are any of the following:

A high temperature or fever

A new, continuous cough

A loss of, or change in sense of smell or taste
